RONDA IBEX
WHERE
The Ronda Ibex gives the name to the mountains they live in. Ronda is located in the south of Spain, close to Malaga.
SEASON
The Ronda Ibex season goes from middle October to April. The rut time is around December.
FREE OR FENCE
We always hunt in free range, rather in Natural Reserves or non fenced concessions.
SLEEP IN
We sleep in hotels or lodges, it is not a backpack hunt.
HOW HIGH
The average altitude is around 1,500 / 2,000 feet. It's not so high, as we're close to the coast, but the terrain is steep.
ABOUT THEM
The Ronda Ibex is one of the smallest species of ibex on earth. It's also the blondest and shortest of the 4 in Spain.
